ABOUT ME
Everyone is born with an incredibly powerful tool: the imagination. Unfortunately, most lose touch with this tool when they are tethered to reality as they grow older; they are told that the imagination should be left in their childhood. I found it hard to detach myself from my own imagination and knew that I couldn't possibly let it go. While at first I thought I was strange and unusual for holding onto it, I soon realized I was wrong. I had never made a better decision than to follow my passion and study writing and film. In the pursuit of higher education, I have done more than hone my skills, I have expanded my thought process and opened my mind to the universe of the imagination. Writers can use this long-forgotten tool for so much more than daydreaming and playing make-believe, we can share our stories with the world. I live by this motive, and hopefully, I can give something wonderful to others.

NARRATIVE FICTION
My focus in writing has always lingered in the genre of fiction. Journeying into a story that could be vastly foreign or eerily similar to our own is what sparked my interest in creative works. The "make-believe" universe provides a place to let the mind wander, and those wanderings held the greatest meaning for me as a reader. This piece is the first of a four-part collection. Each story is meant to stand alone but also connect as a full arc, providing a full picture of the story line.
DRAMATIC SCREENPLAY
As a passionate cinephile, I took an interest in screenwriting and film production while studying at my university. While this challenged many other students, I found myself intrigued and enthralled with the new discovery of screenwriting. Since then, I have explored the format even further. One script I favored was for a short film which explored a dramatic structure and dark themes.
CLIENT VIDEO PRODUCTION
Back in 2019, I was lucky enough to volunteer on a client video for a local hospital. The medical center had their very own channel which filmed content for any hospitalized children. Our film crew interviewed parents, children, nurses, and doctors in order to produce a 30 second TV advertisement as well as a longer version to be used by the hospital for support and donations.
